Looking for ways to make money online is a bit daunting, especially if you are a beginner. You will not be short of ways to earn money on the internet, but deciding which one is for you is a tough one.

Where do you start?

The problem with making money on the internet is, that you will have many competitors. You have to beat these competitors. To be good at something you have to enjoy it. That is the only way you will perserve, and put your heart into something. Make a list of all the things you enjoy doing. The list could consist of blogging, filling in surveys, giving people advice...and so on.

Make your list into a money making plan

With your list of things you enjoy doing, you can turn it into a great money making plan. Let us call it a brainstorm. The thing about brainstorming is, that it opens your mind and help you to span an idea. Use a separate piece of paper for each activity you write down. On each piece of paper, fill it with all the ideas you can think of for that activity. You will be surprised at the things you come up with. Don't worry if your ideas don't seem to be ways of making money, the thing about the internet is, that you can earn money many different ways. In my previous post, we looked at how you can monetize any website without selling products. The internet is not just about e commerce.

Time to get started

The importance of planning is crucial. Too many people jump in with an idea without properly planning. You need to see what your potential earnings will be, goals need to be set and research needs to be done. One of the things you will want to do now is to press on with so much enthusiasm, Be careful though not to fail before you have begun. Don't be over keen to start all your money making ideas. Start with one, and when that one is fully set up, then think about another, not before.

How to succeed

You wont be short of competitors, but one thing you will have more than them is, a firm plan and bags of determination. You need to be amazing at what you do, always offering a different approach than your competitors.

Notice in this post, I have not given you many examples of money making opportunities. That is because, I want you to develop your own. If I give you examples this early on, you will adopt them and that won't help you to develop your own niche, and your own unique ways. Remember, the very beginning of the post when I said that it is important to do something you enjoy? well this is the crucial secret to making money online. The rest will come.
